We are very happy to announce our latest innovation: the LM6HC-SW, a 6mm focal length, 1" C-mount industrial lens optimized for SWIR applications. This new lens is designed to provide high transmission from 800nm up to 1900nm, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of industrial applications, including solar cell inspection, waste sorting, and biological research.
The lens's SWIR optimization is the key feature, and one that makes it well-suited for a variety of industrial applications. SWIR light is often used in industrial applications because it is able to penetrate certain materials that visible light cannot. Additionally, SWIR light is able to provide valuable information in biological research applications, allowing researchers to study the internal structures of biological samples with greater detail and accuracy.
Another key feature of the new lens is its angle of view. With a horizontal angle of view of 96.8°, the lens is able to capture a wide field of view, making it easier to capture detailed images of large objects or areas. Additionally, the lens has a distortion rate of -0.2%, which helps to ensure that images captured using the lens are as accurate and true-to-life as possible.
