Kowa has expanded its 1" HC series with two focal lengths for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). The LM50HC-IR (f = 50mm) and LM60HC-IR (f = 60mm) are both IR-corrected, meaning the lenses minimize the focus shift when switching from visible light to IR illumination. This is important in order to be able to capture sharp images during day and night traffic surveillance.
The new Kowa C-mount lenses for ITS are ideally suited for sensors such as the Sony IMX174 and CMOSIS CMV2000 and CMV4000.
