Industrial lenses for industrial image processing
In image processing, our industrial lenses perform tasks such as defect detection, surface inspection or form and dimension inspection. In industrial image processing / machine vision mainly industrial cameras and industrial lenses with C-mount thread are used. C-Mount is a standardized thread connection. Kowa offers C-mount lenses for image formats from 1/2" to 4/3", which corresponds to image circle diameters from 8mm to 23mm.
Industrial lenses for surveillance and security
For traffic monitoring and security, the resolution of industrial cameras and industrial lenses has increased in recent years. The higher resolution makes it easier to see details and identify suspicious people. Our industrial lenses deliver correspondingly high-resolution images. For long distances KOWA offers motorized zoom lenses. Zoom, focus and iris functions are controlled by motors. In addition, there are functions such as auto iris or autofocus.
Our industrial lenses are IR-corrected for day and night monitoring. IR-corrected zoom lenses are designed in such a way that there is no focus shift when working with IR illumination instead of visible light during night surveillance.
